Wind power
There are many advantages of wind power:
- each kilowatt hour of conventional energy saved improves the environmental situation
- the capacity of wind power can be predicted rather accurately
- a wind power site produces up to 100 times more energy than it consumes itself
- there is an indefinite supply of wind
- windmills do not destroy the landscape
- modern wind power sites already produce enormous power output
- renewable energies create jobs and contribute to climate protection
- renewable energies do not need surveillance regarding malpractice
- economically & ecologically wind power is the most effective source of electricity
- wind power allows for reaching a large part of the reduction of CO2-emissions that is currently aimed at
- and much else
The wind power sector: strength & potential for growth
- de-facto unlimited resources
- continuously increasing global energy needs and, at the same time, people’s increasing ecological mindset
- additional EU funding & incentives will soon be standardized
- immense chances of growth due to UN & EU standards
- as a result of those international standards, national assistance measures (such as the “Feed-in Electricity Tariffs” in Germany)
- measures to reduce bureaucracy (e.g. licensing procedures are being approved of more quickly)
- the recent law “Feed-in Electricity Tariffs” ensures subsidies
- total subsidy duration: between 15 and 20 years
